Wednesday, November 5

guy fawkes.

Remember, remember the Fifth of November,
The Gunpowder Treason and Plot,
I can think of no reason
Why the Gunpowder Treason
Should ever be forgot
.

so it's guy fawkes night/bonfire/barbarian barack obamabeast time.
the link ^^ has a crazy ass pub song lyrics sheet at the bottom,
talkin' about burnin' the pope,
and god saving king james...
pope burnin' might be pretty fresh,
but king james was not so rad,
despite rewriting the bible.

i think it's suitably excellent that a whole day devoted to wrecking the effigy of a dude who took active participation to new heights is the follow-up to election day.
after all, he really did try to blow up the joint.
personal politics, ya'll.
everyday life livin'.
i really hope that those motives mean mountains,
and not made-up molehill mutations to ya'll.
i talked to my friend, shawn, today, for a while, even,
about misrepresentative proclamations.
specifically regarding the dispensing of damning decrees disparaging democratic doo-doo butter.
he had some valid points, for sure.
but then again,
i'm an inflammatory immolator of the middle ground...
my real-life logic isn't always apparent in my proclamations of participatory protestation.
i rarely show my work.
regardless,
maybe i should've been saying:
''voting is only gay if you don't live in pretend-land''.
or,
'if a ballot is cast in the forest, and nobody knows how to read it,
is the city still lame?'
hahahahahaha.
i'm sayin';
rural responsibilities are completely backwards, a little bit 'tarded, and certainly smaller.
they just don't equate to big city big pictures.
thats what makes the woods so good.
and a little bit bad, too.
i'm sure, though, on the local level,
city dwellers have stuff to take sides about...

these are albino aquatic clawed frogs.
pink barbie frogs, as we say in the woodsly goodness.
professor no-beard, and dr. von friendlypants.
they look like they are rejoicing, no?
perhaps its all the audacious, bodacious, capacious hope in the air.
white african transformers with a fishbowl view of the world?
yeah, it's like i have two presidents in my house right now.

i went and saw 'zack and miri make a porno' last night,
and it was pretty funny, and sorta romantic,
and a lot like watching someone make a charicature of a kevin smith movie.
only it was kevin smith.
so i guess that makes it okay.

bonfires are a mandatory edict today.
viking pyres, and gunpowder plotters,
spitting hot fire and despoiling daughters,
remember, remember,
never quiet, never soft...
