fire and ice.

ceaseless beauty.
that's the best part of livin' in the woods.
besides the part with all the guns, i mean...
even a simple evening out on the deck in subzero weather gets to get appreciated.
while the ladies played scrabble,
i played with deadly damocletian daggers,
dangling dangerously,
and, of course,
made out of frozen water.

i'm sayin',
icicles are dope.
they pretty much only do the one thing.
but they do it well.
you guys can probably imagine how much i love the growth rings along the length.
concentric cirles,
overlapping,
and in this case,
quantifiable.
inexorably moving,
one drip at a time,
to a ever-stretching pinnacle,
pointing down.
that's word.

glow-ribbed stalagtites,
lookin' lovely.
the flash from the camera made 'em look like crystallized lightning.

these guys are actually planted in the pots on the deck,
updside-down,
like a garden of arctic battle-carrots,
in opposite land.
blue glowin'?
yep, that's a little l.e.d. in between 'em.

the hottness isn't limited to high temperatures.
frozen glowcone winter wonderments, ya'll.
it looked so warm, and inviting,
but seriously,
it was minus whatever degrees outside,
and orange auras can't replace lost bodyheat.
i mean,
c'mon,
it's ICE for cryin' out loud.

every day,
a little somethin', right?
word.

we had a day.
and it was fresh.
we headed to portsmouth, nh, for the afternoon,
for some walkin' around and food munchin',
saw some folks from back in the day,
times were had.
we listened to the newest ben folds album, too.
that dude knows what's up.
you might wanna listen to it.
i think it'd be good for you.

the old testament just called,
they want their whole look back.
....yeah.
i'm about to go beget some sh!t up;
never quiet, never soft....
