star wars day.
that's a thing.
lightsabers.
wookies.
droids (not the gay phones).
ewoks.
well,
maybe not ewoks...jub jub.
so how did we celebrate?
did we jump to light speed and chop off arms and legs?
nope.
we jumped into the millenium outback,
and chopsticked nugs and blops.
a death star-sized serving
of green elephant goodness.
but first we visited with phuc, sue, and phoebe,
at tsunami tattoo.
he loooves the wars among the stars.
we did keep it pretty watto, though.
you know it-
smoking stumps in the city streets.
lefty greenified city A*-holes hate that stuff.
which, of course, makes real ninjas like it even more.
fat bellies, and tired butts, y'all.
that's how we span a rainy wednesday in the north.
from the mountains to the ocean and back again.
lots of driving,
lots of eating,
and a little bitty bit of shopping in a city by the sea.
what now?
night time tea.
the rules are abided,
the decrees are intact,
and the day is done.
***********
rain, neighbors.
ma nature is doing her damnedest to douse our spirits.
happily,
our spirits cohabitate with memories,
and when we reminisce,
we can all clearly recall what follows the rain.
no,
not just the itsy bitsy spider on the waterspout....
flourishing flora, mutha-uckas.
without water,
they don't doo-doo too much.
and that's word.
i'm taking the time to appreciate the wetness
for all the hottness it's bound to bring.
keep raining, sky,
it's silver linings as far as i can see;
never quiet, never soft.....
