frosted.

duders,
there's talk of an early snap frost tonight.
for real.
we got unprepared ninjas wishing they had sweaters.
we got weak-sauce lickers shivering an' that.
so,
i mean, the seasons are changing, like they always do.
and after summer, comes fall.
like falling temperatures, leaves, and expectations.
awww.
but frost?!
already??
that's not cool, kids.
the biting gusts of wintry wind
whipping the already-changing leaves
aren't making me a disbeliever, either.
and that's for sure.
i'm sayin',
it's cold, neighbors.
real cold.
stupid cold, even.
i can't hang out with this chilly penguin atmosphere sh!t.
it puts the bum's rush on all the end of summer to-do's.
that means early mornings and late nights-
i planted, and mulched a whole heap of hostas,
and pigsqueak, and grapevines...
huh?
that's right- pigsqueak, mutha-uckas.
that's a thing.
if the chill night air is here,
and the perfect sleeping weather is underway,
then it's time to break out the socks.
you read that right, friends.
socks.
like, for your feet.
bare feet are only appropriate above 50 degrees farenheit.
lucky for my frozen toes,
i keep a whole drawerful in stock,
just to be handy when i need to rock 'em off.
....smart.
we're on that friday night huddle-cuddle stay-warm jauns.
it's happening,
too soon,
too much,
too true;
never quiet, never soft.....
