rabbitrabbit.

rabbit rabbit.
what?
i said:
rabbit rabbit.
one more time?
ohhh, okay:
rabbit rabbit!!
that's right mutha-'uckas.
it's the first of the month.
and the muttered echo of our good luck exclamation
was the very first flippin' thing out of my mouth this morning.
you know how it goes, guys.
the calendar gets flipped,
the magic word gets spoken (twice),
and then a whole heck of a lot of awesome ensues.
word up, neighbors.
it's september.
again, already.
summer officially gets a few more weeks,
but that sort of save-the-date doo-doo butter
isn't fooling anybody.
once school is back in session,
it's all done, neighbors.
fact.
try scoopling up a busy businessday when all
the out-of-towners are back home,
and back in school.
awwwwww, man.
it's a hard style, but not an impossible one-
for really real;
i tattbombed all day long,
i made those movie checks,
and i even stacked some morning wood.
c'mon.
it's a true story though, yo...
nothing celebrates a new month like
sweaty manual laboring in the a.m. hours.
follow that up with a stay-late workday,
and a calm, soothing evening at home,
and you've got worthy warrior life living
at it's flourishing finest.
it's all really happening, kids.
 *
it's dark out earlier.
by itself, that's not so bad.
....yet.
but put the dimmer on daytime set to stun,
and the slow leak of light at length,
followed by a fatal dose of season change,
and spetember seems more sinister.
like a terminal diagnosis on warmth.
that IS a hard style, y'all.
lucky for us,
that shed is even fuller with fuel for our furnaces,
and there's more where that came from, too.
every day, we do a little,
and every day, it gets a little easier.
every day, duders,
especially today.
happy september;
never quiet, never soft.....
