level up.

wooohoooooo.
duders,
when the weather is cooperating,
and the temperature isn't terrible,
and there's no jobsite-specific work to do,
and there's fair food to be be feasted upon,
and hallowe'en costuming finally underway,
y'know what you've got?
yuuuup.
a Perfect Fall Day.
and that's just plain expert.
...for real.
there's somethin' especially nicey-nice about a day
where all the elements feel smooth, and fluid, and free-formed along a flow
of motion and emotion that adds up to something good.
i like it.
and i like that the Folk Life & Liberty Fortress exudes that mood,
in all the rooms,
and especially in the mad-scientific test kitchen.
yeah.
i got another 'nother exxxtra sexy bowl,
and it's got a bunch of pumples piled in it.
i do love a damn fine bowl, neighbors.
that's no joke.
check the teleport:
mmhmm.
i needed that.
i should probably let you know that all that P.F.D. business was just preamble,
and now,
we're about to get into the real real sh!t, kids.
yep.
you know what happened when dinnertime rolled around, don'tcha?
wordimus prime.
fa-la-fel, in full falafel effect, F*ers.
check the ten-down-molto-still-to-go-type teleport:
i do love the classic,
especially with v.h.s. cilantro-habanero boomfire bum-fire fury sauce.
expert.
and then,
for numero eleven?
the pharaoh.
that's a thing.
i mean it.
check the XI-type teleport:
yeah!
with beets that didn't taste beat, and weird corn and red stuff!
expert!
huh?
no.
of course that wasn't it.
there needed to be another.
a pair and a spare.
that's the right way to get fresh on falafel..
rules is rules.,
and too much is the right amount,
so i s'pose i'm doing it right, right?
right!
now,
check the hercules-type teleport:
yummmmmmmmmmmm.
i'm steady reppin' that 'ganoush, guys.
it's terrific.
so, all of that,
AND some french-style fries,
and a mug of cream soda,
and free parking,
and then some light exercise and crazy garlic falafel dreams all night!
that's the way to span the dark hours of a restful day off.
how relaxed was i, really?
i wasn't.
but,
i was surrounded on all sides by two kinds of nature-
infinite and earth-motherly,
and i'll tell you what you already know:
nature wins.
sure,
maybe relaxing wasn't happening,
but still,
a full, filling and fulling day without wear, tear, worry, or woe really was.
i'll take that when it's available,
and i'll be damned grateful for the time i have been given;\
never quiet, never soft.....
