TIME TRAVEL!

we're in the FUTURE, friends.
yup, an hour farther than usual,
an hour further than forever,
and also an hour LESS sleep;
which is a steep price tag for time traveling.
at least, it seems like it is to me, man.
what the eff is sleeping? what the eff is a re-darkened morning?
it's what isn't and is happening, i guess.
we've sprung ahead, ahead of springtime,
and tonight it just might even seem worth it-
when it's still a little brighter
a little later,
a little longer,
a little MORE.
here's all y'all need to know:
the future is here already.
don't worry about catching up on sleep,
focus instead on catching up to NOW!
word.
also,
pizza.
y'know?
F* yeah!
because that sh!t is eternal, and timeless, so definitely focus up on that, too.
teleport:
WU-TANG!!!
that sourdough delight is TILTY than a muh-fuh, son!
crusty, puffy, bubbly, with gentle pre-leoparding on the edges.
and with those brass-band brassicas blasting the top,
you KNOW that pizza night is tight at the Folk Life & Liberty Fortress, neighbors.
steam-softened cauli-florets are dope.
caramelized sweet onions are dope.
sweet baby grape tomatoes are dope.
radicchio ribbons are dope.
arugula leaves on pizza? yuuuuuuuup.
you guessed it right, bro: DOPE.
and soy-glazed fried brussels sprouts?
biiiiiiiiiiiih, they're expert AF.
now imagine that sweet crushed tomato sauce,
and the mini-minced daiya mozarella,
AND the fried garlic sprankles all working in unison to activate
every last scrap of unassailable available hottness,
and turn that exxxxtra-large double-dough up to eleven.
suddenly,
sleep and time and light and dark and balance in the force or whatever
all sort of seem less important,
because PIZZA IS THE BEST PART OF THE WHOLE WORLD.
mmmhmmmm.
that's no joke.
*
we're ahead of ourselves.
and that's good news, really.
we can look back and adjust, tinker, tweak, and fine-tune our actions today.
this is it.
today is the day.
an easy sunday,
an early morning,
a busy afternoon,
and a lighter nighttime than yesterday by over an hour's worth of brilliance.
heck,
i've even got peanut butter chocolate chip oatmeal cookies in the oven already.
i'm excited for the time i've been given,
and i'm not wasting one second of the advanced/reduced hour today.
making the most of all of it is all there is to it, so do it;
never quiet, never soft.....
