bluebrication.

hey neighbors!
i'm trying not to waste stuff.
y'know?
time, especially,
as that is in the shortest supply, and highest demand-
but also foods, which i seem to create in surplus to requirements.
here's the rub, though-
i don't like used food.
nope.
i don't.
and leftovers are totally used already.
i mean,
i already had that stuff yesterday....
i'm getting better at being conscious and conscientous about wasteful habits.
the thing is-
too much is the right amount,
and i've usually eaten all that i can possibly fit inside my body,
so it's a hard style indeed to rally around a rematch against something
that's come and gone in a moment of pure being and shark gluttony.
that isn't stopping me, by any means,
it's just more of a challenge, as i want to be up on that new new,
and not investing in some has-been.
so,
i'm repurposing and upgrading the remains of prior meals
into new hottnesses that won't disappoint my mouth.
it's working out, thus far,
and i'm happy to report that i found a use for the unbaked chee'cake
crust crumbles i had on hand from rabbity june firsting.
mmhmmm.
in put it in the cake!
what cake??
THIS cake:

blueberries are the business this week!!!!
with that buttery, graham crackery, oatmeal cracklin' mix-up,
and all those little wild bloobs,
and lemon zest of course,
in a sour creamy-activated whipped fluffy crumb cake!!!
guys,
the cake is so rich, and the flavor is so unexpectedly complex,
you can't help but fire up another slice, immediately,
as soon as the first one has gone down the hatch.
real talk.
and that frosting?
expert.
lemon creamchee' frosty conjuration,
swirled in a lace lattice of light and lovely little bloppins,
and then taken to eleven with powdered freeze-dried bloobs added in.
what?!
yeah!!!
blueberries are good for you, and cake is obviously what you need.
happy coincidences like this make for full days of good times, right?
no?
well,
they give you a slice of cake, and that's pretty dang awesome by itself.
i make it up as i go.

what'd i use?
i don't exactly know!
SIKE.
it's like this:
1/2 cup vegan butter
1 cup sugar
.5tsp salt
zest of half a lemon
2T creamchee'
1/2 cup vegan sour cream
3/4 cup graham crackery buttery oatmeal crumbles
2 tsp vanilla
1 tsp baking ka-pow'
1 tsp baking so'
2.25 cups ap flour
1/3 cup tapioca flour
1 cup vanilla soymilk
that's the order i added it in,
and the oven took it's sweet time making sure it was solid-
45 minutes at 350F
hotter and the edges get too dark,
shorter and the middle is gummy.
i'm not the boss of you,
but i'm passing on my findings so can self-employ that info as you see fit

friends,
i bake things;
i break things;
i take my time, because i've earned it,
but i move pretty fast because life doesn't slow down when you're stopping...
i think that means you never ever ever stop unless you want to be passed by.
hmmmm.
it's all really happening,
and that's the whole point;
never quiet, never soft.....
